Parked (or abandoned) profiles on social networks--man, if that ain't Web2.0, what is? Using gmail search of my account, I counted over a dozen personal profiles I've got out in webland. Digg, Virb, Spock, del.iou.us, twitter, yahoo/flickr, linkedin, facebook, myspace(!), friendster(!!), etc, etc. I update, uh, three, with anything approaching regularity. I fear I'll lose my way in to many of them over time. I have my doubts that facebook will become the one social network bring them all and in the darkness bind them. Maybe the GOOG will, though.
